Teej festival (Inter- House SAREGAMAPA Competition)

  Teej festival is a yearly celebration that marks the advent of monsoon or sawan. To make the day more significant Inter- House SAREGAMAPA Competition was organised by the school for the grades VI-VIII. An array of performances were planned in such a manner that students felt refreshed and filled with immense joy. Folk songs and dances enthralled everyone with their captivating performances. Some of their songs were so melodious that they transported us to another realm and the mundane everyday world around us disappeared.Singers were enveloped in their own new space and belting out the song they had prepared, giving it the best go. The Hon'ble Principal, Ms.Shiva Yadav announced the result.Mother Teresa House was declared as winner while Ramanujan House turned out as runner up.The Principal inspired the students to avail such type of opportunities provided by the school. She concluded her speech by saying, “Every child has the potential to do something beyond imagination”

Mathematics Subject Enrichment Activity (Middle Wing)

  We at RPS always establish a logical approach to enhance learning outcomes. Learning through art makes abstract mathematical concepts more understandable and approachable . Students will be able to visualise what they have learned. The important outcomes of art integration into Mathematical teaching are student's motivation and curiosity in learning. Findings of logics and sharing their ideas create an environment of healthy competition among them. Hence it enhanced their logical power and contributed in developing their mathematical skills.

English Subject Enrichment Activity (Middle Wing)

  Students need to be able to construct quality sentences that communicate information accurately and clearly. Tenses are considered the backbone of the English language. To cater this need, an engaging grammar activity was conducted for grades VII-VIII on Tenses. The students were instructed to make an artistic table of all tenses and explain its usage and structures. This activity incorporates usage of tenses in real life circumstances. It even highlights the important tie  between grammar and writing.

Youth Parliament (Inter- House Activity)

  A “Youth Parliament” was organized, as a part of Inter- House Activity. The students of Grade VI-VIII attired as ministers and leaders, showcased the parliamentary proceedings. The students endorsed various proceedings of the model parliament at the school from oath or affirmation of the new members, introduction of new members,obituary reference, breach of privilege question hour, passing of the bill, calling attention motion,bill for consideration, legislative business bill, adjournment motion, laying papers on the table of the house,private member legislation, message from upper chamber. Issues of national interest like, Agneepath Scheme, increasing inflation,new education policy, female foeticide,drug uses in schools and increasing unemployment rate were discussed during the question hour. Intra RPS SAREGAMA and Rangoli Competition ( Theme: Kargil Diwas)

 Auditions for Intra RPS SAREGAMA and Rangoli competition were held on 7th July,22 for classes VI- VIII. The first day of the auditions started on a high note with students showcasing their talent and impressing the judges with their creative and social awakening rangolies based on the theme - " Kargil Diwas". While some managed to steal the limelight with their exceptional melodious voice for SAREGAMA Competition.  After putting up a tough fight, these semi-finalists  –Prajya (Grade VIII Hindkush ) , Shruti( Grade VIII Himalaya) ,Yuvraaj ( Grade VII Satluj), Vaishnavi (Grade VII Ganga),Atharv (Grade VI Venus) ,Naisha (Grade VI Venus), Ishita ( Grade VIII Himalaya), Khushi Kharab ( VIII Himalaya) made it to the next round.

Special Assembly ( Theme: Van Mahotsava)

 “Trees are the Earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.”-Rabindranath Tagore .!! ‘Trees are the kindest things we grow’. This has been rightly said as the needs of all the living beings are fulfilled by them, but their depleting number has become a serious issue.To make students aware of this issue and taking initiative towards it, students of Grade VI held an Assembly on July 6 ,2022 based on the theme- ‘Van Mahotsava’. The assembly was started with a Gayatri Mantra followed by Morning prayer.The beautiful poems depicting the life and journey of a tree were well recited by  students in Hindi and English.Thought of the day was an eye opener followed by Quiz contest and Scientific facts about plants. Students updated themselves with news headlines as well. An inspiring message was delivered through a short skit which was well executed by the students.The melodious choir on ‘RPS Anthem’ was sung and enjoyed by the students . The Assembly came to an end with the informati
