International Women's Day Assembly Grade X
“A woman is the full circle. Within her is the power to create, nurture and transform.” – Diane Mariechild International Women's Day (March 8) is a global day celebrating the social, economic, cultural, and political achievements of women. To mark the importance of the day, X Beta presented an assembly. The day was devoted to celebrating the achievements of women and seeking gender equality. The assembly began with the prayer to almighty followed by an insightful speech. The students highlighted that achieving gender equality and women’s well-being in all aspects of life is more crucial than ever if we want to create prosperous economies, healthy planet and a better world altogether. A quiz was also conducted to boost the students' knowledge and understanding on the topic. The assembly concluded with national anthem.
