AI (Artificial Intelligence) Virtual Workshop

 RPS 89 conducted AI(Artificial Intelligence) workshop virtually for the students of classes VII to XII. Mr Akshit and Akansha were the resource persons of the session. The resource person started the session highlighting the importance of taking AI as a subject in classes 8th and 9th since in the next decade of this century, the world is going to change, and this is the time when we need to get started. He explained that the CBSE curriculum focuses mainly on preparing student for AI which includes introducing the learners to the three domains of AI and by allowing them to construct meaning of AI through interactive participation and hands-on activities. He also introduced key concepts on artificial intelligence, defining critical terms, capabilities as well as current limitations of AI. This workshop was a good learning experience for the participants.

Lohri and Makar Sankranti (Virtual Assembly)

 RPS 89 celebrated virtual Lohri and Makar Sankranti with gaiety. Students of Grades VI to XII actively participated in different activities on virtual platform due to the pandemic restrictions. The theme was presented meticulously through spectacular performances in the form of a cultural programme. The students displayed an array of performances like singing, dancing, instrumental and role play. The function was highly appreciated by parents and students.

National Youth Day (Special Assembly)

 " It is your energy, your thought, and your karma that will define your tomorrow. " Beautifully said by Swami Vivekananda to our youth. Honoring the vision and work of Swami Vivekananda, who strived throughout his life towards building a better society and inspired the youth with his social services, his birth anniversary 12th January is celebrated as National Youth Day. To mark this day,  RPS International School, Sector 89, Gurugram organized a Special Assembly virtually on January 12, 2022. The students started on a pious note with the prayer song 'Everything I have' followed by Gayatri mantra and a Hindi poem by Rakshita.Students took pledge which reinforced a sense of patriotism for the country followed by a powerful thought to sensetize the atmosphere. A beautiful song was sung by Nelisa, which was thoroughly enjoyed by audience.
