CHALO JAPAN

  “A different language is a different vision of life.” The Japan Foundation organizes programs to introduce various aspects of Japanese arts and culture all over the world. Besides, it promotes networking and human resource development in arts and cultural fields by interactive collaboration and co-production.   RPS International School ,Sec -89 ,   was overjoyed to announce   a cultural programme “CHALO JAPAN”   which was held in the school on 1 st May,2023 by the Japan Foundation,New Delhi. The purpose of the program was to make the students aware about the Japanese language and culture and spark interest about Japan. It was two hours programme which started with an evocative message by the JF foundation , followed by the quiz on Japan and it’s culture and concluded with fukuwarai game and a few impetus lines. English Week from 23 April to 28 April 2023

" Knowledge of languages is the doorway to wisdom."                    - Roger Bacon As part of the school's drive to promote interest in the English language and to develop children's interest in reading books ,the Middle Wing  celebrated ๐Ÿ“šEnglish Week from 23 April to 28 April 2023. ๐Ÿ“š The school  planned various interesting activities for this week.  As part of the activities, students read a book and wrote a Book Review.  For the second activity, students listened to the Autobiography of the famous author, Ruskin Bond and filled a questionnaire based on it.  A Story Building Activity was also undertaken. Students were given the beginning of a story and they added to it. The activity was thoroughly enjoyed by the students. 

World Heritage Day Activities

Our rich and varied cultural heritage has a profound power to help build our nation." - Nelson Mandela  18th April is observed as World Heritage Day which is also known as the International Monuments and Sites Day, celebrates the work carried out by the ICOMOS – International Council on Monuments and Sites. The day is all about increasing the awareness of the importance of the diversity of cultural heritage and preserving it for future  generations.  To celebrate this day and create awareness, few activities were planned by the Middle Wing of the school on this day.  Students of Class VI came to school in traditional dresses and spoke about their cultural significance and why they are worn. Students of Class VII Prepared brochures on famous monuments of their choice. They came up with wonderful presentations.  Students of Class 8 spoke about and described antique items of their choice. Few of them shared Dadi Maa ke Nuskhe.  Students took part in the activities with great zeal and
