Special Assembly ( Theme: Van Mahotsava)

 “Trees are the Earth’s endless effort to speak to the listening heaven.”-Rabindranath Tagore .!!


‘Trees are the kindest things we grow’. This has been rightly said as the needs of all the living beings are fulfilled by them, but their depleting number has become a serious issue.To make students aware of this issue and taking initiative towards it, students of Grade VI held an Assembly on July 6 ,2022 based on the theme- ‘Van Mahotsava’.


The assembly was started with a Gayatri Mantra followed by Morning prayer.The beautiful poems depicting the life and journey of a tree were well recited by  students in Hindi and English.Thought of the day was an eye opener followed by Quiz contest and Scientific facts about plants.

Students updated themselves with news headlines as well.


An inspiring message was delivered through a short skit which was well executed by the students.The melodious choir on ‘RPS Anthem’ was sung and enjoyed by the students .

The Assembly came to an end with the informative and inspiring words of Ms. Shiksha Ma'am who encouraged all the students to take good care of our true friends ‘Trees’.

Diya Decoration Activity

Diya Decoration Activity was held on Tuesday ,October  15 2019 for  Grade VI to VIII. The main purpose of this activity was to explore the students imagination ,creativity and celebrate the Festival of Lights in its true spirit. Diyas symbolize the supremacy and consequence of brightness over darkness. Students have painted,decorated and made enticing diyas as a part of diwali celebration. They acquired knowledge on the importance of making diyas and lightening all over to celebrate the victory of Lord Rama. It was sheer  and a great experience for all students who were the reasons for making this activity a great success.

Science Quiz Grade X

 "Knowledge is the only kind of wealth that multiplies when you give it away”.  An inter- house Science Quiz was conducted today for the students of class X.The aim of the science quiz was to inculcate a spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking amongst the students of grade X and to provide a platform to the students for exchanging thoughts.  The event witnessed enthusiastic preparation and participation. There were four rounds in total. The first round was 'Choose Appropriate Answers' followed by the other three rounds namely 'MCQ Round, Unscramble Round and the Rapid Fire round'. The students put their best efforts while answering the questions in the different rounds of the quiz. It provided an opportunity for the participants to explore the world of science. The Kalpana Chawla House won the quiz and bagged the first position. Second position was bagged by Mother Teresa House. APJ Abdul Kalam stood on the third position followed by S. Ramanujan House
