World Heritage Day Assembly: Middle Wing

This engaging topic formed the core of a debate competition conducted by the students of Grade 8 (CV Raman & Newton) during their assembly on the theme “Heritage of India.”

The assembly began with a pledge and a meaningful thought for the day, followed by a well-presented news update. Students showcased their understanding of India’s rich cultural heritage through a speech, a poem, and insightful segments highlighting its introduction and economic importance. The highlight of the assembly was the debate, where students spoke both for and against the motion with confidence and clarity. Their perspectives reflected a thoughtful balance between embracing modern lifestyles and preserving our traditional values. Adding to the celebration of Heritage Day, students of Grades 6 and 7 participated in a poster-making competition, creatively depicting traditional art forms such as Madhubani and Warli, bringing out the beauty of India’s diverse culture. The assembly concluded with a meaningful message encouraging everyone to respect, preserve, and take pride in our rich heritage while adapting to the changing world.
