“Maha Shivratri teaches us devotion, inner strength, and the power of goodness.” The Pre-Primary Wing of RPS International School, Sector 89, celebrated Maha Shivaratri with great devotion and enthusiasm. The campus was filled with spiritual vibes as little learners were introduced to the significance of Lord Shiva and the values of truth, kindness, and positivity. The celebration aimed to help children understand the importance of Maha Shivratri in a simple and meaningful way. The programme began with a prayer, Thought of the Day, and a short story about Shiva, explaining how he symbolizes strength, peace, and goodness. Children were excited to learn about the holy Ganga, the trishul, and the damru associated with Lord Shiva. The celebration continued with devotional rhymes, short dance performances, and creative activities that kept the little ones engaged and joyful. Some children came dressed as little Shivas and Parvatis, adding charm and excitement to the event. Under the caring guidance of their teachers Ms Ekata and Ms Kashmira, the children participated with confidence and devotion. Their innocent smiles and enthusiastic involvement made the celebration truly special and memorable. The day beautifully reminded everyone that goodness, patience, and positivity always lead us towards light and happiness.
