Special Assembly (Middle Wing)

God is one, but he has innumerable forms. Gurpurab is celebrated to mark the birth anniversary of the first Sikh Guru- Guru Nanak Dev. The significance of Guru Nanak Jayanti was illustrated through a special assembly by the students of grade VI Earth on 10th Nov, 2022 at RPS International School, Sec 89, Gurugram. Theme of the assembly was based on Guru Nanak jayanti. The assembly commenced with the Gayatri Mantra and morning prayers which are believed to provide peace & serenity to our minds. After the prayer, pledge taking, short speeches, theme based poems and sanskrit shloka were presented by the students. An amazing group song performance was given which was full of tribute to god. One student told us about the preachings of Guru Nanak Dev. Last act was a wonderful group dance performance. Their confidence towards showing colorful culture of Punjab was imbibing a feeling of team spirit in students' nascent minds. The flavour of ancient Punjab village and energy of the performers were contagious which left the audience in awe of them. In the end, our middle wing head Ms. Vipasha addressed the gathering and motivated the students with her encouraging words of wisdom. The assembly culminated with the rendition of National Anthem.
