A Trip to Japanese Restaurant- Nagomi

In order to understand the Japanese culture and experience authentic Japanese food, we provided our students of RPS International School, Sec-89, Gurugram, a knowledge based opportunity to visit a Japanese Restaurant- Nagomi on 23rd Nov, 2022.

This short trip was organized specially for middle wing Japanese language students with a team of teachers. We had a wonderful experience in that restaurant, ranging from the meal, the decor and courteous behaviour of staff members. The color and interior of restaurant was typical japanese. With melodious background music, the charm of the place was exceptionally adorable. The ambience of restaurant was appealing and visitors may extend their stay there because of that cool serene. Everyone received a Oshibori which is used to clean hands before eating. We were provided with disposable wooden chopsticks as well. The waitress offered rice porridge gratis while we waited for our order. Besides Sushi and salads, a variety of main course delicious dishes were also mentioned in the menu. The table setting and garnishing were chosen to complement the ingredients and evoked seasonality. 

Our students managed to learnt the methods used in preparing the Japanese cuisines. Curious students talked to Japanese natives Nana Sensei and Prakash San (Owners of that restaurant) regarding japanese culture & customs, food and main festivals etc. We clicked few pictures along with our team members. In the end, students enjoyed a couple of beautiful Japanese songs together. Overall this short stay at Nagomi restaurant deserves great accolades as it was proven a knowledge based visit to everyone.
