Special Assembly (Middle Wing)

The festival of joy, light and hope marks a new beginning in our lives. Diwali brings hope in our lives, enabling us to see the positive side of life, setting aside the negativity. Diwali symbolises positive and happy spirits. May the supreme light illuminate our minds, enlighten our hearts and strengthen the human bonds. To celebrate this beautiful festival of light, the Middle wing presented a wonderful Sanskrit assembly today .

The assembly began with a sloka followed by prayer. The melodious rendition of the sloka created a positive environment. The talented students of RPS 89 presented a skit on the theme of Diwali. It was entertaining, but at the same time was relevant and well executed. It was followed by a Nukkad natak where the enthusiastic students highlighted the plight of the young children employed in the Cracker industry. It was a thought-provoking presentation. The whole assembly lit up with the colourful dance number presented by our budding dancers. It was a mesmerising performance. A wonderful combination of grace and skill. The Assembly was then addressed by our honourable Principal ma’am, who with her words of wisdom enlightened the young learners. Principal ma’am also felicitated the winners and Mentors of the MUN who had brought laurels to the school. It was a beautifully organized assembly which highlighted all the aspects of the Festival of Lights- Diwali.
