Shlok Recitation Competition

Sanskrit became the '  lingua franca ' for the students of classes 6th, 7th, 8th when they celebrated Sanskrit Divas on August 29 ,2019 with great gusto and fervor. A Shlok Recitation Competition was organised for them. The entire school reverberated with the flawless chanting of shlokas from the scriptures like  Bhagwad Gita, Ganesh Pancharatan to name only a few. The audience was left spellbound by the marvelous rendition of our students. Their performance was judged on the basis of presentation, confidence, fluency and language pronunciation. 

 The programme was presided over by Mr. Anil Arya,HOD Sanskrit and Ms.Renu Sharma,HOD Hindi.  Mr Arya not only judged the show but also addressed the students in chaste Sanskrit. The programme culminated amidst great applause and cheering.
