Mehndi, otherwise known as henna, is a paste associated with positive spirits and good luck and believed to be a symbol of fertility. It is a ceremony that is celebrated with much gusto in various regions of India especially during the Festive seasons. RPS 89 organized a Mehndi Competition for the students of classes 9-12 to inculcate interest in traditional customs of India. The students enthusiastically participated in the competitions and presented their talent .They applied various stunning and beautiful designs and exhibit their talent in this art form.  The faculty members were also present  to mark the occasion. A different variety of mehndi  application was seen at each hand which caught hold of the eyes of the judges.

  'One language is never enough'. In the sync with the above,RPS International School, Sector 89, Gurugram celebrated the virtual evening in Japan with a blend of Japanese Dance, music , drama and many more fun-filled activities.Students participated with zest and zeal in plethora of activities prepared under the flagship of Japanese faculty Ms Renu Kumari. The renowned language speakers captivated everyone with their thoughtful words.The event significantly raised awareness of Japanese language education at school level and showcased students' dedication, involvement, learning and promoting Japanese language and culture.The program was well appreciated by the Chairperson Ma'am and she encouraged the vitality of learning different languages.

 

    STELLAR PERFORMANCE BY RPSIANS IN INTRA RPS COMPETITION! “A winner is someone who recognizes his God-given talents, works his tail off to develop them into skills, and uses these skills to accomplish his goals.” —Larry Bird The talented students of RPS International School, Sector 89, Gurugram made their parents and teachers proud with their astounding success in INTRA RPS Science Exhibition and Debate competition, hosted by RPS Public School, Hansi on September 26, 2021. The shining stars of RPS showcased their boundless creativity and confidence while competing with hundreds of other participants and came out with flying colours when they were declared winners in the following events- 1st Prize in Science Exhibition: RISHITA YADAV XII (Science) DISHA KATARYA XII (Science) YANSHI SHARMA X (A1) 3rd Prize in Debate Competition: Mehak Sahu-XII(Commerce) Snehal Jaiswal-XII(Science) Utkarsh Jha- X (A1) Heartiest congratulations to all the achievers!

  Covid-19 Vaccination C amp was  conducted by RPS International School,sec 89,Gurugram in coordination with   PHC Garhi, Gurugram   on Saturday, 21st August,2021 in school premises. Total of  100 members,both teaching and non teaching staff inoculated the first and second doses as per requirement. This is a humble request to spread awareness among your near and dear ones. Get vaccinated and urge friends and family members also to get vaccinated. It has no side effects. Even after getting vaccinated,one should strictly adhere to the covid-19 safety precautions by wearing the face masks and maintaining physical distance.

  'Raksha bandhan' is a special occasion to celebrate the virtuous bond of love between a brother and a sister which is one of the deepest and the most noblest of all human emotions. To commemorate this festival, RPS International School conducted a ‘Rakhi –making’ Activity. Students from grade 6-8th participated in the competition and made colourful rakhis. Rakhi making competition was a picture of excitement and thrill . They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls and flowers for making beautiful rakhis. The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. Our students celebrated Raksha Bandhan with great ardour and gaiety.
