  We Are The Shining Stars of RPS, 89!!! To felicitate the 'Stars of the Class' from grades VI to VIII, a special assembly was conducted on April 23, 2022 in the school premises. Students were rewarded with the star badges on the basis of parameters like discipline, spoken language, regularity, knowledge about country, behaviour, work completion followed by a concrete election process. School Principal, Ms Shiva Yadav applauded all the deserving students and motivated others to prove mettle in every sphere of life.

  Little hands and imaginative minds came together in a creative burst of energy during the activity “Best out of waste”, held on April 23, 2022, organised by RPSIS89 Gurugram. The School focuses on the activities in which children are aimed to understand the importance of preserving the environment and learn more about sustainability. In order to make children aware of uses of waste material, a Best Out of Waste Activity was organised. Students used reusable and recyclable materials like news papers, shoe boxes, bangles, ice cream sticks and much more. From these items, they created an amazing array of display items and useful everyday objects leaving everyone totally amazed and impressed. Students imbibed the values like preservation, recycling, conservation, reduce, reuse etc by participating in this activity of caring our environment.

  "The earth does not belong to us. We belong to the earth." - well said by Chief Seattle Earth Day is observed on April 22, consistently to raise awareness for Earth's environment. To commemorate the day various activities have been conducted for Grades VI - VII. All the tweens came forward with amazing creativity. They collectively made earth crowns, posters and chandeliers under the theme "Save Earth". Earth day encourages us to reflect on what we are doing to make our planet more sustainable. Taking care of the Earth is not just a responsibility- It's a privilege and we all must have responsibility to take care of it.

  'Quizzes are not only fun for students but also they are a form of learning among them'. To encourage teamwork and instill the habit of learning among the students, RPSIS 89 hosted an In- House English Quiz Competition for the Grades VI to VIII on April 16, 2022, in the school premises. It was a 3 Tier competition that started with General Round, Rapid Fire Round and followed by an Audio Visual Round respectively. There were a total of 6 teams comprised of 3 participants from the classes VI to VIII. The Team Empathy won the quiz and was felicitated by the esteemed judges. Honorable Director Sir, Mr Vipin Sharma appreciated the efforts of the teachers and students and ignited the spark of positivity and zeal with his motivating words.
