RPS International School Gurugram - Senior Wing

  The 3rd day of Sports Week on Thursday, December 30, 2021, was conducted with great zeal, excitement, and a frolicsome atmosphere. The students entered the spirit of the event in a grand way with their energetic performances. Once the races began, the air was filled with cheering and tons of encouragement for the young athletes. In throwing events, discus and shotput were organised, Volleyball, a three-legged race, and a tug-of-war between the girls and boys were also added to the enjoyment. All the students were very much excited as this was the time to enjoy beyond the studies.

  "Playing sport is a vital part of our development.” Sport teaches us development. It helps us learn things such as resilience, leadership, accountability, respect and patience. Lessons that sports teach us can help us develop as players and all round good people too. In the continuation of the same, the school is celebrating Sports Week to inculcate sportsmanship spirit among students.

   As a sport that emphasizes endurance and reflexes above simple size and strength, people of all ages and genders can play on an equal field.                                                                                                                  RPS 89, GURUGRAM organized a Table Tennis Match in the school sports room. Two participants from each team participated in the match. Excitement and enthusiasm for the competition was infectious. All the participants played like professionals and displayed good sportsman spirit and team work.  

  Christmas is a season not only of rejoicing but of reflection. Christmas celebration at RPS 89 was organised on December 23, 2021 in school premises. The school was decorated beautifully with glitters, balloons and lights. Children dressed up as little Santas and were a joy to behold. The enthusiastic participants performed melodious carols, a special Christmas act was staged and magical dance performances captivated everyone around. They also talked about the facts and importance of this festival. At the end of the program, the Principal Ma'am wished everyone Merry Christmas.
