Augmented reality sandbox gives RPS International School Sec-89 students a unique perspective of Earth. Through augmented reality, students can see the sand transformed into varying altitudes on a map. The digitally enhanced sandbox allows students to build up areas of the sand or to smooth them down, thereby changing the topography of the map. They can even make it "rain" by holding their hand over one area of the sandbox under the sensors. "Now we add a whole new dimension to teaching by using experiential learning," said School Principal Dr.Roopa Marwaha Bhalla.
