Intra RPS Know For Sure Quiz

Indiannica Learning Private Limited (formerly known as Encyclopædia Britannica (India) Private Limited) organized the 'Know for Sure' Quiz in association with the RPS Group of Schools in Gurugram, Haryana on Wednesday November 13,2019 at RPS International School Sec-89. Mr.Sumit Gupta, Managing Director of Indiannica Learning and Er.Manish Rao,CEO of RPSGOS graced the occasion. More than 100 students of classes VI – VIII from various RPS Schools participated in the preliminary round of the quiz, out of which top scoring six teams made it to the final round of the live quiz. The live quiz was hosted by Avid quizmaster, Mr Ajay Poonia. A dynamic platform has been created for the Young Learners of RPSGOS to articulate their skills and exhibit their innate talent. The contestants all pumped up, Mr.Ajay delved into a fantastic game of question and answer and took quizzing to a whole new level. The energy that he brought to the stage kept all the contestants on the edge of their seats and the audience craving more. From direct questions and picture clues to audio and video rounds and, of course, a buzzer round, the quiz had them all. Speaking about the quiz competition Mr. Sumit Gupta, MD, Indiannica Learning Private Limited said, "Hosting the 'Know for Sure' Quiz with RPSGOS and promoting research based learning is a pleasure for us. The enthusiastic and active participation by the teams displayed their knowledge and made the quiz a grand success. Diya Decoration Activity

Diya Decoration Activity was held on Tuesday ,October  15 2019 for  Grade VI to VIII. The main purpose of this activity was to explore the students imagination ,creativity and celebrate the Festival of Lights in its true spirit. Diyas symbolize the supremacy and consequence of brightness over darkness. Students have painted,decorated and made enticing diyas as a part of diwali celebration. They acquired knowledge on the importance of making diyas and lightening all over to celebrate the victory of Lord Rama. It was sheer  and a great experience for all students who were the reasons for making this activity a great success.

Science Quiz Grade X

 "Knowledge is the only kind of wealth that multiplies when you give it away”.  An inter- house Science Quiz was conducted today for the students of class X.The aim of the science quiz was to inculcate a spirit of scientific enquiry and analytical thinking amongst the students of grade X and to provide a platform to the students for exchanging thoughts.  The event witnessed enthusiastic preparation and participation. There were four rounds in total. The first round was 'Choose Appropriate Answers' followed by the other three rounds namely 'MCQ Round, Unscramble Round and the Rapid Fire round'. The students put their best efforts while answering the questions in the different rounds of the quiz. It provided an opportunity for the participants to explore the world of science. The Kalpana Chawla House won the quiz and bagged the first position. Second position was bagged by Mother Teresa House. APJ Abdul Kalam stood on the third position followed by S. Ramanujan House
