Special Assembly-Teez Celebration

We at RPS celebrate each and every festival with great zeal as the festivals create an environment of cultural harmony and teach us to forget our enmity and embrace one another in a bond of love. We understand that right from childhood the children should be a part of these festivals and should know the importance of  celebrations. This helps them understand the rituals of each festival and develop a liking for them.
Keeping this in mind RPSIS89 celebrated Hartalika Teej on Tuesday, August 2 2019 which is seen as a major festival and is celebrated in North India with great fervor. It was a pleasure to witness the festivity and galore which made the whole environment lively and colourful!

 The morning assembly of Class 7B was conducted with great enthusiasm on the topics “Should Art Be Separated from Science?” and “AI in Teens’ Life: Empowerment or Dependency?” The program was skillfully anchored by Vaibhav Thakur and Chhavi. The thought for the day by Bhavya Karwal and Heeral Singla motivated everyone to think positively, followed by the news update presented confidently by Shivansh Dwivedi. A speech by Pious added depth to the theme, while the debate by Hardik, Aarav Pandey, Prerit, Aarav Sharma, Paakhi, Yakshit, Harshita, Atif, Daksh Yadav, Ketan Yadav, Mansi, and Navya Mor, under the guidance of Ms. Ruchika, made the audience think deeply about the role of art, science, and technology in modern life.
