Kargil Vijay Diwas-20th Anniversary celebration

“Our flag does not fly because the wind moves it; it flies with the last breath of each soldier who died protecting it.”

This quote truly epitomizes the gallantry and attitude of all the Indian soldiers who died fighting in the Kargil war. RPSians presented the Special Assembly on Kargil Vijay Diwas on Friday July 26,2019 which is commemorated in the proud memory of the brave slain heroes during India’s victory over Pakistan during Kargil War of 1999. Celebrated every year on July 26, the day is about remembering the brave soldiers who laid their lives on the line to protect the country’s pride against the enemy. Students presented a multi-hued show replete with patriotic zeal and emotional fervor. Through a small skit, the students delivered the message that our flag is more than just cloth and ink. It is a universally recognized symbol that stands for liberty and freedom. It is the history of our nation, and it’s marked by the blood of those who died defending it.
The Assembly concluded with the echo of ‘Jai Hind’ and everyone left with immense love for their country in their hearts.
